When will the new Exora be launched?
The launching will be on the 15th of July 2010 by our Group Managing Director, Dato’ Haji Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir.

When can customers view the car at PROTON showrooms?
Customers can view the car at all PROTON Showrooms from the 15th of July 2010 onwards. |

What is the OTR price and how much is the difference from the current Exora (Peninsular Malaysia)?
The difference is an additional RM1,000 and the OTR prices are as follows :

What engine does the new Exora uses?
The new Exora uses the Campro CPS 1.6L engine.

How long is the manufacturer’s warranty period?
3 years or 100,000km (whichever comes first). |

Is the EWP available?
Yes. The EWP provides coverage for another 2 years or 75,000km whichever comes first after the expiration of manufacturer’s warranty. This makes the total warranty period to 5 years or 175,000km whichever comes first. |

Is the maintenance cost higher than the current Exora?
No, the maintenance cost is the same as the current Exora. |

When can I start to book the new Exora?
The booking can be made immediately after its launch from 15th July 2010. |

What is the waiting period?
The waiting period is approximately 1-2 months. |

Can I test drive the new Exora?
The new Exora is only available for viewing and not for test drive, however, the existing test drive units for the current Exora are still available. Since there is no change in the specifications of the engine, the performance of the new Exora will be exactly the same with the current Exora.

What is the transmission type available for the test drive?
The test drive unit is only available in automatic transmission type.

Where can I test drive the Exora?
At all PROTON branches and selected PROTON sales dealer outlets. |

Can the current customers who are still waiting for their Exora change their bookings to the new Exora?
Yes, the change of booking can be made at the showroom where the booking was originally made. However the change in booking will affect the waiting period. |

How much is the booking fee?
The booking fee is RM500. |

If I book now and there is a long delay, can I get my booking fee back?
Yes, booking fee that has been paid is refundable. We do not encourage cancellation, but under certain circumstances, customers are allowed to transfer the booking made to other Proton models. |

What is the hire purchase loan interest rate?
5years – 3.50%
7years – 3.75%
